What can City Clinical Hypnotherapy treat
Dealing with addiction
This may have started out as this being a little treat once in a while, a cheeky one, a couple of large whiskies after a tough day, maybe you will just finish the bottle or just have another for the road.
You may have arrived here trying to find a way to deal with pain, insomnia or restlessness and had no idea that you could end up with a substance dependency.
If you are reading this you are probably aware there is a problem
Lately you find life a bit overwhelming. You are worried and you have noticed that things nearly always go past the point where you would have preferred to STOP. A friend or your partner has pulled you to one side and ask ‘if you are alright?’. You may even have had someone nail it – and you are shocked by the realisation that things have slipped this far.
Addiction can creep in quite slowly and stealthily and before you know it your performance is suffering, your relationships are being affected and you are feeling really dreadful some mornings.
You feel ashamed but you can’t seem to stop?
How Hypnotherapy helps
Firstly all of our work together is completely confidential. I have treated narcotics, alcohol, food, sex, money, internet, porn and people addictions to name but a few.
We will look at exactly where you are. We will look at putting in place the best support for you at this moment – this may include other professionals and organisations.
The process of work through an addiction is a very individual – I will require you to come to the session ‘straight’. I do not treat gambling addicts.
Clinical Hypnotherapy is a powerful, safe and fast tool in the right hands. Look at How Hypnotherapy Works for a jargon free explanation of this process.
